Dr. von Haunersches Kinderspital

Voice assistant in the emergency room

Doctors must accurately record treatment steps while treating emergency patients in the emergency department's shock room, which is an enormous additional burden in this extremely stressful situation.

A voice assistant for the emergency room

In the summer semester of 2022, students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FK04) developed a concept for a speech-to-text processing system in the "Requirements Engineering" seminar taught by Prof. Dr. Claudio Zuccaro, which simplifies protocoling and makes work much easier for doctors.

Further development in the context of final theses

In the summer semester of 2023, a bachelor's and a master's student from the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics (FK07) will further develop the concept as part of their respective theses.

Semester: Summer semester 2022 / Summer semester 2023
Faculty: FK04 Electrical Engineering and Information Technology / FK07 Computer Science and Mathematics
